Srinagar is the largest city of Kashmir which is also the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir. Due to its qualities its also a center of attraction for tourists. Srinagar is spread over an area of 103.93 sq kms. and its height above sea level is 1730 meters. This is a beautiful tourist place with mixture of various castes, cultures and languages. The main speciality about this city are its waterfalls and gardens made by Mughal emperors which represent the beauty of 4th and 5th century. Various historians have different views about the establishment of Srinagar but to days truth is that Srinagar is surrounded on both the sides of Jhelum river. Mountains covered with snow, beautiful trees of Chinar, beautiful valleys ,world famous lakes like Nagina and Dal represents the view of this city. Due to its nice climate Srinagar attracts tourist throughout the year.

Nageen Lake calm and peaceful, the only ripples on its screne waters are caused by water skiing enthusiasts. Swimming, diving, sailing are some of its major attraction. Our Houseboats are anchored on the Nageen Lake and you can be accessed your houseboat directly from land without the help of a shikara while all those on the Dal require a shikara to get to and from them. |
Anchar Lake (Bird Sanctuary) assessable by a Moghul Style Shikara, capable of carrying 4 persons and rowed by six oarsmen the route takes you through scenic countryside. Via man-made canals. Anchar Lake is a bird watchers paradise where you will be able to watch and identify many species of birds, some of them on their way to extinction. |
Wular Lake is the largest fresh Water Lake in Asia, towering mountains surround it. The Jade Green Waters swirl gently around a curious, bubbling spring in the middle of the lake. Mansabal Lake - laden with lotus in summer and a bird watchers Paradise, this lake is one of the largest haunts of aquatic birds in Kashmir. |

Tulip Garden also known as Indira Gandhi Memorial Garden(Siraj bagh) is located in Zabrawan range, Srinagar, Kashmir, North India. Overlooked by Dal Lake, this destination offers a view of fabulous tapestry of flowers. This garden was thrown open for the local populace on 5th April by the Froliculture mininster Javed Dar. This garden will remain open from 5th of April to 15th of April 2011. Tulip Garden is enlisted amongst the Asia`s largest Tulip gardens. Millions of well grown and budding tulips are displayed during the week longTulip Garden Festival at Srinagar. Created on the lines of Tulip Gardens of Netherlands, Kashmir`s Tulip gardens have planted around 10 -15 lakhs of Tulip bulbs and 30-40% are in the growing stage. 15 lakh Tulip varieties are displayed at this garden. Perched on the foothills of Zabrawan range between Nishat Bagh and Cheshmeshahi Moghul gardens, the Tulips of Kashmir have stretched the tourist season to two months. |
